Access to a Team of
Wellness Coaches
Our certified Wellness Coaches bring experience from many health-related backgrounds and include dietitians, occupational therapists, personal trainers, and more.
Our Wellness Coaches are real people, not avatars, chat bots, AI, or algorithms. And they are available to your clients via phone, email, or video.
Flexibility for Changing Needs
Because the NeverStop Wellness Program is built on relationships, as your clients’ needs or situations change, their Wellness Coach will ensure their NeverStop plan changes too. They’ll never be stuck in a plan that no longer works for them.
Recognition for Healthy Clients
If you have a client already committed to a healthy lifestyle and behaviors such as a regular exercise routine, healthy diet or getting quality sleep, now they can get rewarded for what they are already doing!
Financial Rewards at No
Additional Cost
For every successful action your client adopts (like improving sleep, getting more exercise, eating a more healthful diet, expanding social interactions, and more) they will earn additional long-term care insurance benefits. These additional benefits will add up over time, increasing the total value of your client’s coverage, at no additional cost.
Personalized Healthy Aging Plan
Members work with their Wellness Coach to identify three wellness goals and a “healthy action” for reaching each one.
NeverStop rewards are earned every two years for each fully completed healthy action. The rewards are then converted into additional insurance benefits based on the underlying product purchased.
The Ease of Enrolling in NeverStop
When you recommend an insurance product that includes NeverStop, your client will experience,
- A quick and easy 30-minute digital underwriting process, and
- An underwriting decision in 15 minutes or less
No more waiting for weeks on end for a decision. No chasing medical records and setting up assessments!
You’ll follow the application process for the carrier’s product you’ve sold. All medical history will be captured on the application and the cognitive and physical assessment will be completed via Assured Allies’ digital underwriting process.
The assessment will take place between your client and an Assured Allies underwriter who will ensure your client is comfortable and clear on the process.
Which of Your Clients Are Right
for NeverStop?
Easy! All of Them!
NeverStop was designed for all types of clients because it’s not a “one size fits all” program! You can recommend NeverStop to clients who:
- Have an underlying medical condition they know they need help managing
- Actively manage their health and wellness today and would appreciate and welcome additional resources and support
- Suspect they could be doing more for their future health, but don’t know where or how to begin
- Don’t feel they need help now, but recognize they likely will down the road
Meet Three NeverStop Members
Barbara is 71 and trying to balance being an active community member, meeting her own health goals, and caring for her mother.
As part of her retirement plan, she decided to purchase a long-term care product that included the NeverStop Wellness Rewards Program. In one innovative plan, Barbara could meet her retirement income goals, get help with future long-term care expenses and have access to a Wellness Coach to keep her active and independent.
Barbara and her NeverStop Coach worked together to develop a plan to help ensure her future health and wellness
With the help of her Wellness Coach, Susan, Barbara identified three healthy actions important to her. They included,
- Physical health
- Emotional support (as a caregiver for her mother); and
- Proper nutrition
Barbara has never wavered in her commitment
- Susan was pleased to help Barbara reach her Emotional Support goal by identifying local caregiver resources, giving Barbara more time to help her community, which also benefits her emotional health.
- Barbara visits the local YMCA pool weekly to participate in their water aerobics classes to satisfy her Physical Health goal.
- She’s getting the proper nutrition she knew she needed by joining a local Weight Watchers chapter.
Barbara and Susan have made a great team working together as Barbara’s situation has changed over the last several months. That’s another benefit of the NeverStop program that Barbara really appreciates – recognition that her needs aren’t static and there’s help available when needed.
George is 79, retired, and lives with his wife. Not long after becoming a NeverStop member, George’s wife noticed he was having problems with his memory.
Early on in the program, George and his NeverStop Wellness Coach, Ashley, worked together to establish the following healthy action goals for him.
- Physical Health – Regular healthcare check-ups and screenings
- Hearing Well – Regular visits to his Audiologist to manage his hearing aids
- Keep Moving – Tracking his daily step count to reach his goal of 4,000+ steps per day
Managing Memory Loss
Not long after entering the program, George’s wife noticed he was having problems with his memory. Ashley started to see that George needed his wife present for all of their meetings and could get agitated if they went too long. Not long after, George was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
Because of the change in George’s health and needs, Ashley worked with him and his wife to modify his healthy actions to better suit his situation.
- Mental Health – Attend weekly Alzheimer’s group sessions and outings
- Hearing Well – Regular visits to his Audiologist to manage his hearing aids
- Keep Moving – Daily outdoor activity and movement
Ashley helped George and his wife find an Alzheimer’s educational meeting at their local hospital as well as a support group that will help both George and his wife as his disease advances.
As George’s story illustrates, life is full of twists and turns; the road we start down can change quickly and unexpectedly. For many, a diagnosis like Alzheimers’s disease can be overwhelming for the patient and their family. It can be difficult to know how to get help, what type of care is appropriate, and where to find resources. Having access to a NeverStop Coach can provide the lifeline so desperately needed when someone receives such a serious diagnosis.
Susan is 75, recently retired, and is finding it harder than expected to adjust to a recent move.
She and her husband recently sold their home and small business and relocated to a new state to be closer to their daughter. It was a big move that happened fast and she’s had some challenges adjusting. Because she bought an insurance product with the NeverStop Wellness Rewards Program she has had the support and guidance of a NeverStop Wellness Coach, Dana, to help her through the transition.
Susan and Dana worked together to develop a plan for Susan’s health and wellness
Susan and Dana worked together to establish the following healthy action goals to help Susan feel her best physically and emotionally as well as feel connected to her new community.
- Keep Moving
- Improve Emotional and Mental Health
- Stay Connected
Susan is committed to her goals, and appreciates Dana holding her accountable
- Susan reached out to the local recreation center to learn about their exercise classes and enroll. She wanted to ensure she chose the best one to meet her Keep Moving action goal.
- It took some time for Susan to feel comfortable asking her primary physician for a therapist referral. But once she did, she quickly found someone she felt comfortable talking to and they began meeting weekly.
- To ensure she felt connected to her new community, Susan decided to join a local craft group. She attended several meetings and then identified and enrolled in the right classes for her.
With the help of her Wellness Coach, Susan is well on her way to making friends, integrating herself into her new community and meeting her physical fitness goals. When it comes to rating her confidence in meeting her goals, she gives it a 10 out of 10! She credits having someone like Dana by her side, holding her accountable, as a big reason for her high vote of confidence!
